May I present to you a film introducing Holographic Data Visualisation (HoDV). It offers the prospect of visualising data in a holographic medium offering real three-dimensional parallax, rather than exploring 3D modelling through a 2D mode such as a computer screen. Obviously here you will see it on a 2D screen, but in real life it appears in 3D without the need for glasses. The concept and the hologram was incepted and pioneered by myself at the De Montfort University as a progression to my Master’s study, during a 6 month HEIF funded proof-of-priciple project.
